“No doubt that this is an excellent post-natal recovery and rehabilitation programme.”
"Yoga is a fantastic way to move and rehabilitate your pelvic floor (and your whole body!) but, as with all exercise, expert advice and instruction will make it safer and more effective. This ebook does just that. It consists of a 16 week, progressive programme, designed by experts in yoga and physiotherapy. It is well written, detailed but not overwhelming, and very easy to read and follow. It is also designed to be suitable for all mothers, not just those in the immediate post-natal period. It consists of short sessions that can fit into busy lives, and the instructions are always clear and easy to understand. It makes the exercises safe and accessible, even to those who have never attempted yoga before. There is good focus on the pelvic floor area and adaptations to ensure that all the exercises are pelvic floor friendly. There is no doubt that this is an excellent post-natal recovery and rehabilitation programme and can be useful as a basis for a continuing exercise regime. ”

What Mums Around The World Are Saying
“I am so impressed!”
“I am so impressed by this ebook and only wish I’d had it earlier, as I had my son six months ago and had a third degree tear which left me pretty nervous about what I could and couldn’t do, all while being pretty desperate to get back on the exercise train! But to be honest the book itself, as incredible as it is, is only the half of it! Hannah, you and and your team bent over backwards when I had trouble downloading it (the issues were certainly all on my end!) and never once made me feel like a fuzzy brained new mum in the process. It takes a bit of bravery to put yourself out there with a product like this and all via social media - I applaud what you’re doing and hope you know that the community you provide here is having a truly positive effect.”
“Aren't enough ways to say thank you.”
“I know this is very early days after buying the guide but there aren’t enough ways to say thank you to yourselves @yoga_girl_london and @finolaphysio for producing this postnatal guide.
Even at 14 weeks postpartum, I was still struggling with core stability and a bit of an ab separation.
Just by performing the stage 1 exercises once a day for the past 5 days I’ve seen a significant improvement in the gap reducing and the muscle is starting to shorten and engage again during every day activities. I feel a noticeable difference in my posture and ability to lift and hold my son.
I also think it’s fantastic that even though the exercises from stage 3 weeks 6-16 are split up in to leg/ arms/ core practices each one contains elements of core work to continuously help progress with strength each week.
I couldn’t be happier as before this programme it just felt impossible to get my core and pelvic floor to engage effectively and almost like it was hopeless even trying some days. You’ve given me back hope and confidence that things can and will improve with time and consistency. As I’m already seeing the affects of it.
With a gracious heart I thank you so much 🙏🏾 xox”
“I am unbelievably happy tonight.”
“Oh. My. God!!!!! 😯😃🥰 sorry if that seems a bit dramatic but im feeling all the feels right now. I’m so exhilarated and a bit in shock to be honest but a good shock!
I went for a “jog” about a week before you released the ebook to see if my pelvic floor symptoms had improved. The physio I saw at 7 weeks postpartum advised I wasn’t ready to return to running until my urinary urgency whilst running had disappeared.
On that jog I found my symptoms were there instantly the moment I started to jog. Now I’ve been doing the pelvic floor exercises the physio gave me from 7 weeks postpartum but tonight three weeks later and only two weeks in to the ebook schedule and I RAN, I mean not jogged! Nope I actually ran just short of 2 miles at almost my pre baby mile pace and I didn’t have a single symptom! 😁 My mind is blown!!!
My husband wondered what was wrong,I burst in to the house so fast jabbering so quickly about how amazing my run was he could barely keep up with what I was saying 🤣
I mean 2 weeks! From same symptoms and feeling there had been no improvement to NONE! 🤪
Ah I am unbelievably happy tonight. Running is my main sport and my form of moving meditation. I’ve been so lost without it and it’s been hard to be patient with my body and trust in the process. It was beginning to feel like I’d never run without symptoms. So for this to happen so fast is ah like a dream for me. Beyond over the moon right now xox”
“I'll be recommending this to all new mums.”
“I've had recurring shoulder and neck pain since my first daughter's birth almost 5 years ago and lower back pain and hip tightness since my second daughter over a year ago. Your ebook lays everything out so clearly and understandably, and even though I went to PT a year ago, I didn't fully understand the whole picture, how to rebuild my core, or the connection to my neck and shoulder pain. I'll be recommending this to all new moms I know. Thank you again!”
“If you make one investment, make it this one.”
“Down to earth, practical and most importantly realistic 16 week programme and guide to (re-)building your strength after giving birth. Designed by an expert women's physiotherapist and by someone who leads with example and has written from her own experience of having two children, coupled with medical expertise and scientific evidence. When you have limited time as a new mum your priorities for an exercise program are: safe, always available, and manageable in small chunks with a baby (and kids). So if you make one investment to start exercise again after having a baby, for yourself, your partner or a friend, make it this one.”
“I'm so excited to continue this programme.”
“After doing only the first stage for a week and a half I was able to work every day this week WITHOUT BACK PAIN for the first time in over a year, I'm so excited to continue this program and forever grateful to you guys for this product, your detailed approach to holistic muscle strength and the candidness with which you approach issues caused by pregnancy, birth, c-section etc."
“It felt like a really empowering way to start the week.”
“"I just did week 4 core today and it was SO GOOD. It felt like a really empowering way to start the week’ 'They are great - I feel like I’ve achieved something after and I’m definitely getting my strength back’"."
“This book is worth its weight in gold!”
“How have I recovered my core and my strength after having a baby? It’s an ongoing journey of course but the answer is this: yoga, and specifically lots of help and guidance from my wonderful friend @yoga_girl_london. And now she has put all of that help and guidance into a 200+ page (yep 😳🤓) book @strengththroughyoga! I was lucky enough to get my hands on an early version just before Quinn was born and what I learned informed so much of how I came back to my yoga practice these last 5 months. Even more than that, this book lays out six weeks of physiotherapy based exercises followed by ten weeks of yoga inspired circuits designed to increase full body strength and flexibility in just 25-30 minutes, 3 times a week. It’s totally evidence based and co-written by a physiotherapist, and busts all sorts of myths about you and exercise after every kind of birth. If you loved my pregnancy eBook, and want something more in-depth and more focused to help what happens next this book is worth its weight in gold."
